About Your Next Job
At JPP, you’ll support real campaigns for biotech and pharma companies; starting with our own channels and growing into client work. No lab coat needed, just strong writing and a head for clear communication.
You will be part of the life sciences sector, which means working with companies that are developing new medicines, health technologies, and research tools. You do not need a science background. Your job is to help translate complex ideas into clear communication that reaches the right people. It is a chance to build experience in a specialist industry that needs strong communicators.
About Your Next Colleagues
We are a team of four with backgrounds in life sciences, communication, and business development. We work closely together, share ideas, and give each other clear feedback. You will be part of a team that values practical contribution and personal growth.
About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Draft and schedule posts for JPP’s LinkedIn and newsletters
- Support email campaigns, internal communication, and event planning
- Create basic visuals using templates or tools like Canva
- Contribute to client projects by supporting content creation and campaign tasks
- Join brainstorms and give input on ideas and messaging
- Attend events and help collect content for social media and reporting
About Your Skills and Experience
- You study Communication, Commerce, or a related field..
- …AND you have an interest in Life Sciences
- You write clearly and are comfortable adapting tone for different audiences
- You are reliable, hands-on, and interested in working in a professional environment
- You are curious about how communication works in specialized industries
-Experience with LinkedIn, Canva, or email tools is useful, but not required

You are available for at least 5 months, based in or near Leiden, and ready to work on-site. You are open to learning, confident enough to attend events or interviews when needed, and excited to build experience in an industry that is growing fast.
