Are you passionate about both science and business? Do you want to make an impact in the life sciences by helping accelerate drug discovery and personalized medicine? We are seeking a motivated MSc student to join us for a unique internship project focused on market research and strategic business development for our 3D imaging and assay development services. You will help us map the ecosystem of biotech and pharmaceutical companies using 3D cell models (such as organoids and organ-on-a-chip systems), analyse market trends, and develop innovative strategies for engaging new customers. This internship is ideal for students who want to combine their scientific knowledge with business acumen and gain real-world experience in the biotech and pharma industry.

We support clients in academia, biotech, and pharma with state-of-the-art imaging technologies, including 3D cell model assay development, imaging and analysis. About Your Tasks and Responsibilities
Key project goals:
• Develop and implement creative lead generation methods for identifying biotech and pharma companies working on organoids, organ-on-a-chip, and other 3D assay technologies.
• Build a comprehensive, segmented database of relevant companies, academic institutions, and CROs involved in 3D biology.
• Conduct in-depth market research to assess trends, customer needs, and how NBIL’s services can address key challenges in the field.
• Design a targeted customer engagement strategy and craft messaging for different market segments. • Present your findings and strategic recommendations to the NBIL team.
About Your Skills and Experience
• You have strong analytical and research skills, with an interest in market analysis, business development, or strategic marketing.
• You are familiar with the biotech or pharmaceutical sector.
• The ability to work with data management tools (Excel, CRM software) is a plus.
• You have excellent communication skills in English.
